Terms of Use
Last updated: November 2, 2026 · AppBlips & TechMitten LLC
01Scope
These terms apply to the AppBlips website and desktop application provided by TechMitten LLC. By downloading, installing, or using AppBlips, you agree to these terms. The source code is also governed by the MIT license included with the project.
02Free and Open-Source Software
AppBlips is provided at no charge and does not require an AppBlips account or subscription. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute the software as permitted by the MIT license. If these terms conflict with rights granted by that license for the source code, the MIT license controls for that code.
AppBlips incorporates third-party open-source software components, each governed by its own open-source license. Attribution notices and license terms for those third-party components can be found inside the desktop application.
03Third-Party Connected Services and AI Providers
AppBlips allows you to connect, configure, and integrate with third-party services, APIs, hosting platforms, and artificial intelligence providers or local model runtimes. Your use of any third-party service is independent of TechMitten LLC and is strictly governed by each provider’s respective terms of service, acceptable use policies, developer rules, privacy policies, licensing terms, and fee schedules.
Compliance with Third-Party Rules: You are expected and required to comply at all times with the rules, policies, and guidelines of all third-party connected services and integrations you use in connection with AppBlips, including without limitation:
- Third-Party Connectors: All connected services available in AppBlips or featured on our Connectors page, including Web3Forms (form processing and email delivery), Umami (visitor analytics), Plausible (cookie-free analytics), tawk.to (live chat widgets), Square (payment processing and checkouts), Pollinations (AI image and text generation), and Surge (static web hosting and publishing).
- AI Providers and Local Runtimes: Cloud AI model aggregators, inference services, and local model servers, including OpenRouter, LM Studio, and Ollama, as well as any other commercial AI API provider or local model you configure. You are responsible for adhering to all applicable model licenses, acceptable use requirements, developer policies, rate limits, and content restrictions established by those providers.
TechMitten LLC does not operate, control, endorse, or guarantee the availability, uptime, safety, or policies of any third-party service. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own accounts, API keys, credentials, and compliance with each service’s requirements.
If you link and use Pollinations within AppBlips, your Pollinations usage includes an additional fee from which 20% goes to TechMitten LLC to support the project. The same fee and 20% credit to TechMitten LLC also apply when you include Pollinations AI in your own generated projects and configure them so that your visitors pay for AI usage through Pollinations OAuth.
You are solely responsible for monitoring your API consumption, configuring spending limits or usage caps with your provider, and paying all fees or charges billed by that provider. Any token counter, usage indicator, or cost display included in AppBlips is provided for convenience as an approximation only, may not reflect actual provider tokenization or billing, and should not be relied upon as completely accurate. Always refer to your AI provider's official dashboard for authoritative usage and billing records. TechMitten LLC is not responsible or liable for any third-party API costs, token consumption, or billing charges you incur—including any unexpected, excessive, or unintended usage resulting from software bugs, inaccurate token estimates, automated retries, loops, configuration errors, or other defects in AppBlips.
04Your Content and AI Output
As between you and TechMitten LLC, you retain all rights in your prompts, custom code, project assets, and generated applications.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, auditing, and testing all model-generated code and content before relying on, publishing, or distributing it.
You are solely and exclusively responsible for all content, prompts, files, instructions, and code you provide to AppBlips, as well as all code, applications, text, media, or other materials generated by third-party or local artificial intelligence models (“AI Output”).
Artificial intelligence models can produce output that is inaccurate, defective, incomplete, insecure, or infringing upon third-party rights. You acknowledge that AppBlips does not independently verify, review, monitor, or endorse AI Output. You assume full legal and operational responsibility and liability for thoroughly evaluating, verifying, testing, and auditing all AI Output to ensure its accuracy, safety, security, functionality, and legal compliance before executing, hosting, distributing, deploying, or relying upon it in any context.
05Acceptable Use & Prohibition of Illegal Activities
Using AppBlips, its companion services, or any AI Output produced through it for any illegal, unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose is strictly prohibited and constitutes a direct, material violation of these Terms of Service. You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, regulations, and third-party rights at all times.
Without limitation, you strictly agree NOT to use AppBlips or any output generated through it to design, develop, host, execute, facilitate, or distribute:
- Malicious software and cyberattacks: Malware, viruses, ransomware, trojans, spyware, keyloggers, phishing interfaces, credential stealers, exploit payloads, or tools engineered to gain unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or private data.
- Harmful or abusive material: Content or applications that promote or depict child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAM), non-consensual sexual content, hate speech, violent extremism, harassment, stalking, defamation, or self-harm.
- Fraud, scams, and deceptive practices: Fraudulent schemes, scams, counterfeit services, deceptive consumer interfaces, automated spam, or unauthorized impersonation of individuals or entities.
- Third-party service rule violations: Any activity, payload, or integration that violates, circumvents, or abuses the terms of service, API conditions, acceptable use policies, rate limits, or safety rules of any connected third-party service or AI provider—including Web3Forms, Umami, Plausible, tawk.to, Square, Pollinations, Surge, OpenRouter, LM Studio, Ollama, or other providers.
- Infringing or proprietary violations: Code, assets, or software that infringe upon or misappropriate any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy right, or other intellectual property right of any party.
- Regulatory and sanctions violations: Any activity that violates applicable export control laws, trade sanctions, data privacy regulations, or other statutory requirements.
TechMitten LLC reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to any hosted connectors, distribution channels, or companion services, and to cooperate fully with law enforcement and regulatory authorities in investigating and prosecuting any unlawful activity conducted through or in connection with AppBlips.
06Updates and Availability
We may release, change, or stop maintaining versions of AppBlips at any time. Because the software is open source, you may continue using an existing copy or maintain your own version subject to the MIT license. Third-party AI services and other integrations may change independently of AppBlips.
07Disclaimer and Liability
AppBlips is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that generated output will be accurate, secure, original, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechMitten LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any third-party API fees, usage charges, or lost profits, data, or revenue arising from use of AppBlips or any AI Output, even if caused by a defect or error in the software. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid TechMitten for AppBlips—which is zero.
08Changes and Governing Law
We may update these terms by changing the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, where permitted by law.
